Linux System Engineer

Make our Linux platforms solid — from BSP and drivers to OTA-ready images that carry perception and control workloads in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Board bring-up, bootloader / kernel / rootfs, and BSP maintenance for ARM platforms
  • Driver integration for cameras, LiDAR / TOF, IMU, storage, and networking
  • System performance, power, watchdog, logging, and field diagnostics
  • Build secure, reproducible images; support OTA / update workflows
  • Partner with embedded and algorithm teams on real-time and IPC constraints

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or above in CS, EE, or related; 3+ years embedded Linux experience preferred
  • Deep familiarity with Linux kernel, device tree, Yocto / Buildroot or similar
  • Strong C; shell scripting; debugging with gdb / ftrace / perf as needed
  • Understanding of networking, storage, and process / memory management on devices
  • Ownership mindset for field reliability and factory flashing / production support

Nice to have

  • Secure boot, dm-verity, or containerized edge runtimes
  • Experience with NPU / ISP / camera pipelines on SoCs
  • Robot or industrial controller product cycles
